Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Entry-Level Flight Controls Engineers to support Flight Controls system design, integration in Everett, Washington. This requisition will fill multiple positions for both in-production and development programs. This position supports development through the flight control life cycle including system architecture trades, requirements development, project planning and execution, design and analysis, build, test, qualification, certification, customer delivery and fleet support.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Fundamentals of aerospace, electrical, and mechanical engineering principles
  • Systems engineering principles including System Safety Analysis (SSA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) highly desirable
  • Functional, Logical, Requirements Development and decomposition
  • GN&C Systems Architecture
  • GN&C Design, Simulation, and Analysis
  • GN&C Integration and testing
  • Ability to synthesize relationships between requirements in multiple specifications.
  • Experience with lab testing and solving of technical design issues.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • A Bachelor's, Master's or higher in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering by the end of December 2022.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working with classical and modern control theory/design/analysis
  • Experience with aircraft, missile, spacecraft, autonomous platform or similar vehicle Guidance, Navigation or Control systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
