The Fabrication Division organization within Boeing Commercial Aircraft is seeking anEntry-Level Equipment & Tooling EngineerinHelena, MT.As a part of Fabrication Division in Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Helena is located in the breathtaking state of Montana and is currently targeted as a growth site. As such, Boeing Helena is seeking both Equipment Engineer(s) and Tooling Engineer(s) as the site continues to bring on new work statement and grow. Our Equipment Engineer(s) will be responsible for helping with the acquisition of new equipment as we grow as well as maintaining existing production assets for sustainment. Our Tooling Engineer(s) will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining fixtures and tools required for milling, drilling, turning, shot peen, inspection, and other manufacturing processes on predominantly titanium and other hard metal production parts.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the development of basic equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
  • Compiles and analyzes technical data for equipment and tooling
  • Assists with compliance reviews regarding safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
  • Supports the tracking of contractual performance milestones, the development of preventative maintenance and spares plans, assists with production readiness planning, and training of Production and Maintenance personnel
  • Develops and implements basic work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
  • Assists with the disposition of assets

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Summary pay range: $57,800 - $78,200
