Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support CH-147 maintenance efforts in Petawawa, Canada.

The individual will work closely with the CH-147 Global Technical Operations Leadership to support the planning, execution and delivery of Quality products and services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Performs inspections on aircraft for maintenance activities on the CH-147 platform.
  • Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures.
  • Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.
  • Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Documents audit results in standard formats.
  • Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in modification efforts.
  • 1+ year of experience in a Quality Assurance Representative role (QAR, CDQAR, CDI).
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • Quality Assurance training.
  • AS9100/9110 training and experience.
  • Experience working with Government programs.
  • Experience and training on Canadian CH-147F Chinook.
  • Active Secret Level II Security Clearance.
  • Prefer Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) experience.

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience. The range for this classification is $66,000-$117,000 annually. This is a full-time opportunity that provides full company paid benefits, and a retirement savings plan.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government. Requirements to obtain a secret security clearance can be found at:
