An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Specialist to join the team in Birmingham! This role will support operations, project management, and compliance, and will be providing Business Support services for traveller assistance and expenses, visitor co-ordination, events management support, security clearance support and general administration.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Managing access to Boeing areas and integrations with the wider facility.
  • Processing visitor requests and ensuring planned visits are coordinated with the day to day operations in the facility.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information.
  • Ordering and maintaining general office supplies.
  • Planning and implementing logistics for internal and external events and meetings.
  • Co-ordinating with the site's Facilities Management Specialist in ensuring the Boeing area of the facility is maintained in excellent condition.
  • Ensuring a professional and welcoming first impression for visitors.
  • Building a strong professional relationship with key people on-site.
  • Performs routing recurring accounting, invoicing, cost analysis, tax or other business objectives through collecting, processing and distributing cost or financial data.
  • Participates in documenting business processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while demonstrating understanding of policies and compliance standards.
  • Compiles data and posts information to various electronic information systems as needed. Monitors tracks and records data activity to provide visibility. Assists in compiling data from various sources.
  • Assists with coordinating staff travel arrangements and processing of personnel expense reports.

Essential Qualifications:
  • User level knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Quick to learn new systems.
  • Adaptable and ready to take on any challenge.
  • Proactive and responsible, will own a problem and find a solution.
  • The ability to obtain UK SC clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Foundational Project Management or Finance qualifications

Work Authorisation:

This position does not have sponsorship approval. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency. The successful candidate will hold, or have the ability to obtain, Security Clearance (SC).
