Boeing Ukraine Engineering & Technology Center is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner - Production & Industrial Engineering Team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
- Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
- Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition.
- Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.
- Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
- Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
- Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
- Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
- Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
- Supports other team members as mentor/checker to meet engineering commitments.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Secondary Technical School Diploma with Manufacturing or Mechanics Technologist profile with 3+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry with 1+ years of experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM and Configuration Management principles;
- Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations;
- Knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., Concurrent Engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]);
- Knowledge of tool functions and capabilities (e.g., indexing, fixturing, handling) to support the manufacturing processes and flow.
- English language level - intermediate or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry;
- 3+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing production environment, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.
- Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables;
- Basic knowledge of aerospace products development lifecycle and Lean production system principles;
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5-2018, ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.
- Basic knowledge of the processes and procedures for certification of aircraft, including Federal Aviation Authority [FAA] and foreign regulatory agency (e.g., EASA) requirements;

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience).
