BDA are looking for an experienced ProductConfiguration Management Specialist,to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The role is to be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).

As a skilled ProductConfiguration Management Specialist, you will apply your knowledge and experience to provide the following:
  • Manage and maintain the programs product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
  • Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed is a controlled manner.
  • Prepare and participate in product technical design review and audits as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools
  • Assist to implement and maintain the controls necessary for data and information protection.
  • Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.
About you

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Formal Configuration Management training / certification is desired;
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferable within a related industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards such as ANSI/EIA-649, EIA-649_1, MIL-HDBK-61 and EIA-836 is preferred; and
  • Well-developed communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multi-discipline team.
  • Working knowledge of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Configuration Status Accounting Tool

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.



Relocation is available for the preferred applicant.
