Project Scheduler

Project Scheduler for Pete Coal to Gas Conversion project plays a critical role in ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

The responsibilities will include:

Developing and Maintaining Schedules: Creating, updating, and maintaining project schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. This includes defining project activities, durations, and dependencies.

Collaborating with Project Team: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify critical path activities, and incorporate changes into the schedule. Ensure all contractual requirements are being met by the EPC prime contractor including maintaining and updating a compliance tracking report with the preparation of a separate report listing any deficiencies.

Monitoring Progress: Tracking project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying deviations, and providing regular updates to the project team. Monitor to ensure Project team (Owner) is meeting all of its obligations in the time frame specified in the contract. Monitor and track subcontractors being utilized to ensure they meet all requirements contained in the schedule. Monitor to ensure all contract milestones are being met including contractor notification if recovery plans are needed.

Resource Management: Coordinating with the project team to ensure that resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials are available as per the schedule.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks that could impact the project schedule and working with the project team to develop mitigation strategies. Audit schedules submitted by contractor; prepare letter to contractor listing any deficiencies.

Reporting: Generating reports and presentations to communicate schedule status, critical issues, and recommendations to the project team and management. Review EPC contractor's monthly report for potential contractual implications.

Weekly Meetings: Conduct and oversee weekly schedule meetings internally for Owners updates as well as assisting in EPC Schedule review process.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring that schedule data is accurate and up-to-date, and that schedule best practices are followed.

Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve scheduling processes and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.
