Tenaska is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to develop and implement data governance policies and standards, ensuring data quality and integrity, and facilitating data sharing and collaboration across the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Define and maintain data governance framework, principles, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Establish and monitor data quality metrics, rules, and processes.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement corrective and long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate and support data stewards and data owners in data governance activities.
  • Develop and maintain data catalog, data dictionary, and data lineage documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training on data governance best practices and tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on data governance initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Help drive data adoption across the organization.

Education/Experience/Skills

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related business degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement data governance solutions from start to finish.
  • Proven experience with data governance tools and platforms.
  • High compliance with data governance best-practices and standards.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related business degree
  • Certification in data governance, data quality, or data management.
  • Background in data engineering and data analytics.
  • Fundamental grasp of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
