Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Weekly production planning arrangement by ensuring the releasing production orders for each value stream and get alignment with production team in the weekly meeting
  • Daily monitoring of the execution of production orders, track and correct the variance to ensure the production plan is on schedule for each value stream
  • Day to day management of the material planning team, including monthly meetings and regular 1-1's with each team member, reviewing training and development needs and holiday requests
  • First point of contact for delivery escalations from internal & external stakeholders
  • Leading daily PIM meetings with the team
  • Attending relevant meetings
  • Gathering monthly and quarterly billings outlooks and raising constraints and supply issues in a timely manner
  • Tracking daily and weekly KPI's
  • Attending business audits when required by the quality team
  • Responsible for inventory management for monitoring and reducing value and DOH
  • Master data management
  • Daily performance management to ensure STS target is improving, on track for FY24 goals
  • Conduct reviews on a daily and weekly basis on MPS
  • Review Forecast accuracy level and highlight to demand management to improve forecast accuracy level

What your background should look like:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Good written, verbal and communication skills within team and external stakeholders
  • Experience in production and material planning within manufacturing
  • At least 2-3 years' experience of team leader management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, tight deadlines and problem solving
  • SAP experience is a must have
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis & excel
