SR MGR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - LEAN

What your background should look like:

  • At least 8-10 years of lean operation and/or structured problem solving (six sigma) experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years manufacturing operation, production, quality, logistic, .. working experience in International Automotive industry;
  • Regional lean project experience.
  • Strong Lean/ Kaizen continuous improvement capability;
  • Strong problem solving capability with strong statistical methodology methods on 8D, DMAIC, 3X5WHY, DOE ... with six-sigma Black Belt, and or Master Black Belt,... desired.
  • Demonstrated strong management & leadership skill & abilities
  • Results driven team player;
  • Excellent communication capability, and strong presentation skills;
  • Cross-functional working experience, and strong leading capability;
  • Strong pushing and drive capability;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a global/regional/cross functional team environment.
  • Excellent English and communication skill

Job Overview

Working Location could be China, Japan, Korea or Thailand

  • Achieve AUT APAC income savings commitment and target for Working Capital, Capital improvement projects
  • Lead other specific Functional project such as Material, inventory and logistic management project Operational improvement projects with good interface and execution at regional and site level
  • Conduct cross-functional improvement program and workshop for significant improvement to stimulate change. Ensure initiatives are well-perpetuated through the plants through such program and workshop.
  • Drive and track regional and site-specific business outcome and metrics that the plants are committed to deliver
  • Share best practices, lessons learned, replication of successful projects throughout the region
  • Support skill development in Lean (operational) and structured problem solving (six sigma) skill, standardization of practice, calibration of mindset
  • Serve as 'subject matter expert' so site LPO can utilize their knowledge and China leadership can utilize them for target initiatives through out the year
