Job Overview

Facilitate, communications, leadership, manage, and multitask

This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive environment, health, and safety (EHS) standards and trainings to ensure compliance with regulations, promote a safe work environment, and mitigate occupational hazards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global safety regulations, exceptional management and communication skills, and a passion for building a positive safety culture. The role requires ability to collaborate with key personnel at all levels in the organization to facilitate collaboration and execution of safety programs across 3 TE Segments and 10 TE Business Units (BU). This is a key role that will be an important member of the Global EH&S team. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Manager, EHS Policy to support our organization's safety EHS programs and initiatives.

What your background should look like:

• University degree in business related field, engineering or equivalent.

• At least 8 years of relatable experience in regulatory interpretation and EH&S program development, safety management, and implementation, with a preference for corporate or industrial settings.

• Global experience with at least 5 years of leading related workgroups in a global structure.

• Prior experience and knowledge in manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

• Profound knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

• Significant experience in EH&S systems and digital trends.

• Possess strong and sound continuous improvement disciplines and convictions; Proven success in these areas is a must.

• Proven track record that demonstrates ability to work independently to achieve desired results.

• Strong people & organizational leadership skills.

• Excellent oral and written (including technical policy writing) communication skills towards staff, peers, suppliers, internal customers, and leadership.

• Ability to prioritize manage complexity in a fast-paced environment.

• Very Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word using Styles and Editing; SharePoint

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $105,440 - $158,160 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
