Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary senior leader to lead the Credit Platform's technical modernization and transformation journey, while also managing and delivering day to day priorities and delivery against business objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in leading large-scale technical programs, integrating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, and developing a robust technical talent pool. The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision for our technology platform and the ability to execute against that vision to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Technical Modernization Programs: Oversee and drive large-scale technical modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes.

• SaaS Integration Expertise: Manage the integration of SaaS solutions into the enterprise environment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective vendor management.

• Strategic Vision and Execution: Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision for the organization's technology platform, and lead the execution of that vision to achieve business objectives.

• Platform Management: Leads the development, execution, and delivery of comprehensive technology solutions and services within the Credit Platform, including the design of end-to-end solutions, management of technology issue escalation and resolution processes, and effective stakeholder management.

• Technical Talent Development: Build and nurture a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Change Management: Effectively manage organizational change, addressing resistance and ensuring smooth transitions during modernization efforts.

• Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including Product Owners, Senior Leaders, and external partners, to build consensus and drive strategic initiatives.

• Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of relevant technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.

• Efficiency and Process Optimization: Utilizes deep expertise and experience to optimize product and delivery processes, ensuring maximum value is achieved.

• Financial Management: Achieve all financial targets; Identify opportunities to minimize any negative cost impact and reduce delivery/operational costs of technology.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale technical transformation and modernization programs.

• Experience with retail credit and/or core banking systems highly preferred.

• Proven expertise in integrating SaaS solutions into enterprise environments.

• Strong strategic vision and the ability to execute against that vision.

• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing technical teams.

• Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Deep technical knowledge and understanding of industry trends and best practices.

Experience and/or Education

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

• Graduate degree preferred

• 15+ preferred years of development and technology delivery experience with Agile Delivery Experience preferred

• Experience operating successfully in a scaled agile environment

• Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a regulatory and risk-focused environment

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and technology-driven solutions for risk management

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
