Job Description:

The Senior IT Build Analyst provides broad range of research, installation, maintenance, configuration, administration and/or provisioning of systems/applications. May also be involved in deployment and release management activities.

This position will play a key role in supporting the transition and maintenance of cloud-based collaboration systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and support of enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Cisco Unified Communications solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, deploy and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and Webex RoomOS devices
• Provide technical support for Webex suite of products
• Administer Microsoft Teams calling features and Teams Room systems
• Plan, design, build, and provide 24×7 support for Cisco Voice over IP infrastructure and related collaboration tools. Develop, document, and implement best practices for projects requiring in-depth knowledge of multiple technical areas.

Depth & Scope:

  • Works independently in a senior/lead role on a diverse range of tasks and may be relied upon to coach/ educate others
  • Subject matter expert and consults with clients, team, and/or project team to provide technical guidance and highly complex troubleshooting/problem resolution
  • Leads the support of highly complex and/or comprehensive applications/systems and/or business lines
  • Identifies root causes and implements targeted and controlled remediation plans
  • Installs, configures, upgrades, and administers business applications/systems in co-ordination with appropriate stakeholders
  • Reviews, participates and implements procedures
  • Researches industry standards, best practices and new innovations in technology and makes recommendations

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in related IP telephony design/implementation experience including:
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
• Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
• Webex Calling Suite (Calling, Meeting Teams & Video)
• Microsoft Teams Meeting and Calling suite
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies and QOS design & implementation
• Understanding of voice protocols such as SIP, H323, MGCP, SCCP
• Knowledge of SRST, MPLS, IPSEC and WAN

Additional Skills & Requirements:
• Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from end-user to senior management about both business and IT needs
• Excellent project management, project scoping, troubleshooting, problem resolution, documentation and customer management skills

- CCNP - Collaboration Certification
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate

This position may require an adjusted work schedule and evening hours to meet customer needs. Candidate must be flexible to field calls and provide remote and/or on-site support outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays
