Job Description:

The Corporate Lending Operations team is comprised of over 70 experienced individuals across multiple groups who are dedicated to the following:
- CAIRO Administration: processing and distribution of authorized corporate credits housed in the CAIRO credit origination system and the approval database.
- BI-LAT Loan Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for Bi-lateral and Participant deals.
- TDBNA Loan Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for Bi-lateral and Participant deals for TDBNA clients in US.
- Agency Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for TD Agented deals.
- Loan Sales & Trading provides support in the settlement of loan trades.
- Retail and Non-Negotiable: is responsible for compliance tracking, servicing foreign currency loans for the enterprise and providing general banking support.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy working both independently and as a part of a team, with the desire to develop tactical & strategic solutions. Being able to take initiative with strong relationship skills, including proven influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills. The team is heavily involved in strategic initiatives, business development, and process improvements to drive efficiency, improve client service levels and reduce risk.
- You champion an innovative culture and mindset by challenging and evolving the business strategy. You identify and execute innovative improvement opportunities; inspire the adoption of new technologies, models, and methodologies to enhance productivity, operational effectiveness of the business, and the customer experience, while supporting an effective control environment
- You will oversee such things as Loan transactions, documentation review, upkeep and maintenance of client profiles / records, daily transactional reconciliation, customer service and day-to-day account operations
- You establish relationships with partners and communicate complex issues to a wide array of businesses
- You effectively handle crucial and/or high-risk issues, resolving most appropriate and expeditious course for the successful resolution by exercising tact and subtlety and maintaining good customer relations
- You ensure the quality of own work and understand its end to end impact on the activities of others within and outside of own function / unit.
- Execute on routine and ad-hoc requests in addition to exception processing and management
- Adhere to strict deadlines, while handling high volumes of work in a demanding environment
Job Requirements:
- Administer a group of accounts for the Par Trading Book that are frequently traded
- Maintain the Loan System LoanIQ, including building of new primary and secondary deals, facilities, and loans.
- Proficient in small tech programming tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, Python, AI, Robotics, RPA, Tableau etc. is an asset
- Focus on the customer experience and quality service
- Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the performance and completion of assigned duties
- Verbal and written communication skills are well developed
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Met or exceeded the performance expectations in your current position over the last two years
- Knowledge of LSTA and LMA market regulation, experience with loan agreements and other legal documents are considered assets
- Assist Manager with workflow monitoring to ensure timely and accurate completion of asset transfer
- Good understanding of basic accounting and wire payments process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, LoanIQ and Bank Mainframe
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- University or college degree
