Job Description:
About the Role
Join the Finance Technology Product Group, on the Third-Party Modernization program, aimed at delivering the future of procurement at TD. Our goal is to revolutionize the shopping experience when sourcing vendors, using cutting-edge technologies and delivering seamless user experiences. You will work closely with technologists and cross-functional business teams to help develop meaningful business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Develop and document detailed business and functional requirements
- Act as a Technology Asset Owner (TAO) or delegate, design technology release plans, deployment activities, draft change readiness, and manage testing schedules
- Collaborate and own technology governance documents such as the Systems Requirements Document (SRD), the Systems Design Specifications (SDS), Technology Risk Assessments (TARA), New Technology Assessments (NTAs), track and management findings, and more
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and work closely with the development team to ensure that user experience considerations are integrated into the final product.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Anticipate business needs to influence the development of innovative engineering solutions and business strategies
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of knowledge and expertise in the field, staying current with industry trends, new technologies like Gen AI, and best practices that can deliver effective customer solutions
- Support the team in staying informed about emerging issues, engineering trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, and assess potential impacts to the organization
- Interact with governance and control groups (e.g., Enterprise Protect, regulatory and operational risk, compliance, and audit) to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to engineering technology and tools
- Support colleague growth and foster a culture of care. Lead with authenticity and support well-being to represent the organization's brand
- Foster an environment that promotes the sharing of knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team. Ensure timely management and escalation of issues and create opportunities to collaborate with other functions and teams
- Act as a change leader and create an environment where teams feel psychologically safe to challenge current practices. Model resiliency and flexibility, communicate a compelling vision with clarity, and empower colleagues to drive innovation
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5- 7 years relevant experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or User Experience Designer
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD)
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in Agile
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in business, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working in financial services
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience in technology delivery
