Department Overview:
The TD Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) department is accountable for establishing TD's Global Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorist Financing, Economic Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption (collectively, AML) program to ensure that all TD businesses adhere with AML regulatory expectations in all jurisdictions where TD operates.
This includes setting consistent standards across business segments that may be further tailored to specific business or jurisdictional requirements; conducting periodic enterprise wide AML risk assessments; maintaining the Global AML Policy (including Know Your Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence, record keeping & retention requirements); currency transaction and suspicious transaction monitoring and reporting; screening TD customers against regulatory watch lists; a hierarchy of designated AML officer functions; enterprise-wide and specialized AML training of employees; and independent AML testing.
Job Profile Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Application Management, the Senior Business Application Analyst is responsible for supporting Intakes and Reporting for key FCRM applications. The focus for this resource will be to support key functions within the Intake and Issues Management team along with assisting the BAU Intake Management process, annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Risk Assessment cycles. The incumbent will also manage oversight of the BAU Technology budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES SHAREHOLDER
- Support Business Application Specialist in the end-to-end Intake process according to guidelines; raising non-standard issues to relevant shareholders where required.
- Assist in overseeing adherence to SLA, issue communication, user group support and promoting adoption of processes.
- Build productive partnership with Priority, Delivery and Enablement (PDE) group and the US Intake team to ensure visibility across end-to-end BAU and Segment Partner Project Intakes to ensure intakes are correctly triaged.
- Assist in the Reporting activities, synthesizing data, assisting in development of dashboards and reports, identifying trends and opportunities that can inform decision-making.
- Lead annual BCM and assist with Risk Assessment cycles - ensuring timely completion of all activities required.
- Support development and maintenance of procedures and job aids for the overall team, recommending or implementing changes to procedures, as required.
- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business quality, innovation, teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve capabilities.
- Understand and manage cross-stream interdependencies.
- Support in the planning and execution of strategic activities.
- Support and assist in other initiatives, processes and tasks assigned to the overall team.

Job Requirements:
A team member who can work collaboratively, communicate effectively in both oral and written form and build relationships across teams and functions in a fast-changing environment.
- Undergraduate degree required. 5+ years of related intake process, risk and reporting experience within large and complex financial services organization.
- Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including tracking dependencies, resolving outstanding issues, and structuring meetings effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Ability to analyze large volumes of information, identify key clarifications, and determine next steps.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in evolving and ambiguous environments.
- High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts), and PowerPoint.
- Strong working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
- Experience in working with business applications.
