Job Description:

This position is in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Credit group. The Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and administrating corporate real estate and construction transactions at time of origination and throughout the life of the loan. The position works cooperatively to support the CIB Credit function of the TD Securities.

  • Manages ambiguity, and applies judgement to identify, troubleshoot and resolve ongoing administration and customer issues
  • Interprets and administers policies, adopts and implements process improvements
  • Acts as an escalation contact for issues raised from other internal groups, partners and/or customers
  • Involves regular contact with cross-functional teams across TD, external stakeholders, and customers
  • Coordinate and manage the third-party reports (incl. appraisals, insurance, engineer, etc.) to process for new transaction, asset additions, and ongoing monitoring & control requirements
  • Liaison with the CIB Credit, Agency, and Corporate Real Estate Appraisal Group in responding to lender and other stakeholders' questions regarding third-party reports
  • Reviews, analyses, and administers the funding process, including review of draw notices, technical reports, lien searches and ensure compliance with various covenants and requirements
  • Supports and follows with TD Securities Operations for onboarding and funding confirmations
  • Manages the CIB Credit teams in certain portfolio monitoring reporting, through collecting and validating data and responsible for negational/non-negotiable reporting
  • Act as primary coordinator for internal audit and external exams in providing requested evidence
  • Maintains credit files, and support Agency in posting, data such as updated third-party reports, lien searches, and other information
  • Monitors compliance with regulatory requirements


  • 5-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years related experience required
  • Demonstrates knowledge of real estate credit and general administration
  • Demonstrates ability to independently gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data to provide well-considered recommendations
  • Proven ability to identify and quantify subtle administration risks
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed research and analytical skills
  • Developed PC skills including demonstrated proficiency and capability in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and Customer information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team orientation
