Business Context

TD Securities provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients who choose us for our knowledge and experience in six key areas of finance:

Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Institutional Equities, Private Equity, Precious Metals and Foreign Exchange & Money Market. Our services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.

The Global Murex Support team are responsible for providing Front-To-Back Support for the TD Securities to front and middle office businesses located in major financial centres including Toronto, New York, London, Dublin and Singapore.

Position Overview

The Production Engineering Analyst interacts with all users of Front Office, Finance & Operations, Back Office, Treasury Credit, and Risk Management to develop and implement lasting and robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supporting & delivering solutions to the firm's FX, Commodities, Fixed Income Trading & Sales desks in Europe (London & Dublin)

  • Strong knowledge on Murex MX3/G2000 in FX Cash and Commodity module
  • Supporting the Front Office FXC, FXO, GPM and BM Trading desk
  • Experience supporting a MUREX FO Trading and Risk Platform
  • Respond to incidents for Trade Life cycle
  • Provide End-to-End production application support
  • Effective handle of incidents in a timely fashion to the appropriate Level 3 team and tracked through to closure
  • Effective Problem management for recurring incidents
  • Effective change management and release management so that quality code to the production environment aligned with the TD enterprise change management process
  • Manage weekly Murex vendor call, action plans, follow-ups on issues & problems.
  • Knowledge on FX Cash, Derivative Products (FX Spot, Forwards, NDFs, Swaps, Options).
  • Knowledge on Capital market and Trading Life Cycle.
  • Understanding & prior experience of full end to end system support in Price quote, trade confirmations, settlement, P&L modules.
  • Experience and supporting Electronic Trade Risk Reporting and Confirmation process.
  • Shift coverage typically between 7am - 5pm. Onsite coverage is required 5 days a week.
  • Bank holiday coverage

  • Engineering or Computer Science preferred or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in providing technical support for FX Cash, Option, Base Metals and Precious Metals desks
  • Experience supporting live Murex Trading and Risk Analytics

  • PreTrade Rule, eTradepad/STB and Simulation viewer
  • Price, Rate Curves, indices, generators, bonds, Plvar and pricing

  • Experience in batch management.
  • experience in programming or scripting Languages (desirable)
  • ITRS, Splunk, Python or other monitoring and automation skills (desirable)
  • Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology and ITIL (desirable)
