Job Description:

Department Overview

The Marketing Planning team collaborates with our business partners and Marketing experts to design world class marketing strategies, and campaigns that drive shareholder value and customer loyalty. Our team acts as consultants on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, while ensuring TD brand is protected and delivered in the customer experience.

The Marketing Manager, Integrated Marketing Planning supports Retention and Lifecycle management strategies for the RESL (Real Estate Secured Lending, Mortgages and HELOCs) business. The ideal candidate is the leader in designing and steering complex engagement and retention initiatives to drive customer loyalty delivering business growth across Real Estate Lending products. This role requires strategic and innovative thinking to drive retention and loyalty goals through automation, omni channel engagement, and delivering exceptional advice and customer experience.

  • Marketing Strategies and Plans: Understand market and growth drivers, contribute to a vision of customer retention through, innovation, lifecycle marketing, value prop and benefit proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans.
  • Build omni-channel journeys: Act as the strategic leader for developing customer journeys to drive retention and engagement. Leveraging Marketing Automation capabilities to develop loyalty-driven programs and expanding omni-channel engagement to dynamically deepen customer relationships.
  • Data driven segmentation strategy: partnering with SMEs to leverage data to identify customer retention opportunities throughout the product life cycle and reach out with the right message at the right time.
  • Continuous development of Martech knowledge: and customer lifecycle management best practices, capabilities, tools, and industry trends. Influencing the end to end experience for mortgage retention.
  • Deliver and Monitor Results: Ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan and analyzes past results and makes recommendations to maximize ROI. Evaluate effectiveness of in market activity and effectively communicate the results.
  • Consumer Insights and Trends: Leverage market research and applies customer insights to marketing campaigns/programs. Understand the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization.
  • Build and Protect the Brand: Ensure campaigns support the brand and are designed for a positive customer experience. Understand customer journeys and supports the business to deliver the brand through customer experience.
  • Analysis and Problem Solving: Help to define the problem to solve, engages stakeholders from different groups to gather data and draws insights from it. Leverage data combined with judgment and intuition to make recommendations and drive action.
  • Influencing and relationship management: Build and manage strong relationships with Agencies, Business Units, Marketing Partners, Legal and Compliance, and other internal teams to deliver effective marketing programs.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • Over 7 years of relevant Marketing experience, with a strong background / knowledge of building full funnel strategies in 1:1 owned channels marketing, customer lifecycle, and CRM.
  • Experience leading product marketing strategy in similar industry.
  • Martech, CRM, Customer Lifecycle, retention marketing, digital experience strategy and execution is ideal.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, and product/customer markets and proven ability to drive business results.
  • Innovative, customer-obsessed mindset with strong financial acumen to advocate for customer advice and experience.
  • A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to influence, prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting.
  • Experienced in relationship management, work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions including agency and internal partners.
  • Budget and Project Management: Manage projects in the most effective way (on time, on target, on budget) from initiation to completion. Coordinate multi-functional teams and agency partners through the project. Track and manage budget against plan, meeting all financial reporting requirements.
