Job Description:
The Head - Risk Assessment & Controls - Digital Banking is responsible for first line of defense management of Governance and Control Programs for Digital Banking.
Depth & Scope
- Champions the benefits of a healthy risk culture that will effect change and drive value (switch sets)
- Develops and maintains processes and procedures to manage risks and ensures appropriate ownership. Accountable to first line management of first line programs, second line1 programs, and regulatory exam activities.
- Identifies and documents all 1st, 2nd and 3rd line programs connected to the Digital Bank
- Identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of current strategy
- Informs, executes, and optimizes the Digital Bank risk and control strategy across the 1st line; influence 2nd, and 3rd line programs
- Identifies programs appropriate to centralize execution (vs. execute by individual business) within the Digital Bank BMG team
- Digital Bank liaison for 2nd line programs and exams (i.e. ORM, ERM, Compliance, etc.); sets expectations to create consistency and efficiency across risk programs and consumer business lines
- Ensures successful identification and appropriate ownership of key risks in each business of the consumer bank; including oversight of program deliverables across Digital Bank businesses. Programs include (not limited to): Road to Strong, RCSA, Business Continuity, NBPA, Risk Appetite, Policy Compliance, Reg. Compliance, Business Continuity, Etc.
- Has practical knowledge of the rules, regulations, and other risks applicable to the Digital Bank business unit(s)
- Oversees completion of mandatory risk training
- Resource Planning & Talent Management - Develops and nurtures BMG talent, including actionable succession plans and a strong bench

Experience:
