Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over three decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative and index portfolio management. As of December 31, 2024, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $487 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail investors. Specifically, TDAM is one of Canada's largest Exchange Traded Fund investment managers, with over C$22 Billion in ETFs under management as of June 2025.

TDAM offers a range of investment solutions through multiple national sales and service teams of over 100 people. The sales teams are responsible for positioning TDAM Investment Solutions through financial intermediaries, independent wealth managers, and institutional investors across Canada.

We are currently looking for an ETF Specialist, who will be an integral member of our Distribution team supporting efforts to drive sales and increase market share for TD ETFs.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute TD's ETF business strategy
  • Drive all ETF sales activities in Central Canada
  • Identify direct ETF sales opportunities with investment counsellors, portfolio managers, ETF strategists, family offices, and national head offices
  • Collaborate with the wholesaling teams to prospect their existing client relationships
  • Liaise with key internal partners (Product, Marketing) to create best in class ETF products and collateral
  • Provide ETF portfolio construction and practice management thought leadership
  • Participate in office visits, branch presentations, conferences
  • Educate wide range of retail clients on our products and related capital markets information
  • Represent TD ETFs at industry conferences and events
  • Provide regular updates on sales and industry trends to senior leadership team
  • Lead strategy change within sales team

Key Requirements & Attributes

  • Deep understanding of ETFs, capital markets, portfolio construction
  • Ability to develop and execute on TD's ETF business plan
  • Experience with asset managers, owners, and institutional investors a plus
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to navigate multiple cross functional business units (sales, product, marketing, head office, etc.)
  • Established relationships within the industry is preferred
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills
  • University degree
  • Designations such as CIM or CFA considered an asset


  • Travel and flexibility around work hours required
