Job Description:
Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs) at TD Bank Group contribute to the overall reputation of TD. As executives, AVPs help to set the ethical, organizational and performance standard for the teams they lead and exemplify how an effective performance and development culture functions day to day. An AVP is expected to guide his/her team, collaborating as appropriate with TD partners, to deliver superior results in both the short and long term.

Reporting to the Head, TECE Data & Analytics (US), the AVP, Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence, Strategy and Planning is responsible for overseeing a team of cross functional professionals, responsible for driving AI strategy, leading transformation initiatives, and enhancing the colleague experience.
This position plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the AI vision and roadmap for the organization. Working closely with multiple stakeholders and internal partners, it will drive enterprise -wide AI strategy, spearhead transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation and reimagine the employee experience. The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop, communicate, refine and socialize the AI2 business strategy across the enterprise
- Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for the future based on the rapidly evolving space of AI
- Establish bank wide synergy on the strategy and approach to create effective analytical teams in each of the LOB spokes
- Create and drive the transformation roadmap including overarching strategy and activities around key strategic initiatives
- Define and track all business performance management tracking and reporting (metric development, OKRs, KPIs, Scorecard status)
- Accountable for managing financial and workforce management tactics including forecasting, accrual submissions, vendor, resource planning, open requisition approvals, contractors etc
- Build and lead a high performing team that enables a culture of performance, development and Care
- Accountable for the development and implementation of a strategic vision that advances the talent agenda across AI2 including colleague technical and leadership capabilities, mitigates top colleague irritants and increases colleague performance in alignment with TD and AI2's business priorities
- Oversees a team who develop, deploy, and continuously improves programs and initiatives (which include change and sustainment tactics) to enable greater colleague performance and efficiency (including DEI, Early Talent, Onboarding)
- Partners with stakeholders (internal & external) on upskilling capabilities including AI2 specific technical and leadership skillsets, colleague/People Leader onboarding & development, business acumen, coaching effectiveness & colleague performance
- Build for the future and oversee people plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly specialized and diverse teams
- Collaborate with senior leadership across AI2 and the broader enterprise to ensure alignment and buy-in, and successful implementation of key initiatives
Qualifications:
- 10+years of experience in strategy, transformation and/or employee experience
- Proven track record leading enterprise-wide change and transformation programs
- Expert at leading and developing high performing teams
- Demonstrated business impact and results through developing and executing on strategies over both short and longer term
- Motivated to constantly find innovative ways to enhance capability, understand business strategy and strategic direction of industry
- Experience leading change both internally and externally, maintaining a strong connection to business strategy
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influence skills
- Strong judgement and has well established credibility and trust with stakeholders
- Leads with the client experience at the center and strives for better outcomes
