Job Description:
Accountability to the Shareholder
- Support DTMs to grow Contribution to Profit (CTP) of the Portfolio.
- Support DTMs to ensure Unit goals for deposits, current account service charges, and cash management services are met/exceeded.
- Support DTMs in acquiring new relationships and in deepening existing customer relationships by consistently following the Commercial Sales methodology.
- Support DTMs in enhancing the Relationship RAROC and non-credit Contribution to Profit of customers by selling deposits and cash management solutions and by cross-selling value-added products and services.
- Support DTMs in the acquisition of new business by: prospecting, cold calling and conducting joint business development calls with Directors; conducting calls independently where appropriate; preparing proposals; and making presentations.
- Support DTMs in meeting or exceeding shadow portfolio goals; developing and actively managing a shadow portfolio and documenting call reports in BBHub.
- Understand pricing models/concepts and adhere to Business Banking pricing objectives.
Accountability to the Customer
- Deliver exceptional service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Follow best practice service standards.
- Support DTMs in structuring creative and competitive deposit and cash management solutions to meet unique customer needs.
- Use internal network to continually build specialized expertise to be able to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customers are knowledgeable about how to use their cash management products effectively.
- "Deliver the Bank" by recommending, introducing and referring appropriate TDBFG Business Partners and Products
Accountability to Credit & Operational Risk
- Ensure products and services are sold and operate in a compliant manner minimizing the regulatory compliance and operational risk to the Bank. Complete all compliance training and attestations within required timelines.
- Assess deposit and cash management arrangements to determine credit and operational risks and make recommendations to DTMs and RSM.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
- Understand the market and the industries within the portfolio to ensure value added service is provided to clients while mitigating risk to the Bank.

Accountability to Team
- Embrace and promote a positive environment that supports a diverse workplace.

- Assist DTMs in meeting their objectives and stepping up in their absence to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Be an integral part of the Unit team by being an effective team player.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate Business degree (i.e. Accounting, Finance etc.) with related work experience
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation would be an asset
- Minimum of two (2) years of commercial cash management experience as a Cash Management Officer
- Knowledge of the Bank's payments and cash management products and services
- Effective customer service and selling skills
- Due to the nature of the role and business needs there is a requirement for an in-office presence
- Ability to travel within Canada when required
