Job Description:
The North American Social Media Centre of Excellence team leads the Organic Social Strategy for TD and provides expertise on organic content, listening, community management and brand ambassador aspects of social media. It is also responsible for Enterprise social media health and governance. In this position, you'll work within a team to contribute to the creative and strategic execution of the Organic Social Content Strategy for the TD Canada social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X), collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the TD brand promise is protected and delivered.
Job Description/Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Social Media Content & Strategy, this candidate:
- Works within the Social Media Centre of Excellence team to execute social-first, platform-specific content representative of the TD brand and aligned with Organic Content Social Media Strategy
- Ideates, develops and produces social content (using graphic design, copywriting and video editing skills) aligning with content pillars and designed for priority social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X
- Leads agency partnerships in developing organic social content. Creates content annual briefs, reviews and provides feedback on concepts, ensures project timelines and approvals are met. Facilitates internal translation and posting process.
- Develops strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provides expert consult on the direction of organic social media content to produce high-performing results that boost audience sentiment and align to overall strategy
- Works internally with brand and governing teams as well as key business areas to ensure assets are reviewed and approved and compliant with governing regulations
- Owns team-wide social media analytics reporting process, pulled on monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis. Translates insights into tactical recommendations at team-wide strategy discussions
- Owns monthly content brainstorm meeting, pulling monthly performance, identifying new social trends and creating net-new creative concepts
- Contributes to Social Media playbooks, best practice guidelines and social media content strategies for audience of stakeholder content contributors and secondary social media page owners
- Identifies gaps and future opportunities for the brand including jumping on agile trends and finding new tools to enhance the overall social experience for customers
- Owns the brand's editorial content calendar - balances requests for social media across the organization. Uploads, schedules and approves all organic content into Content tool, Sprinklr, on an as-needed basis
- Contributes to community management and social media listening reports during periods of crisis management; works closely with key partners and stakeholders to manage emerging issues/crises on social media; consults and provides guidance to social customer service team; creates ad hoc content as-necessary
- Protects and adheres social assets to internal guidelines and procedures (accessibility standards, upload processes, English and French languages, brand standards) working closely with control partners as needed
- Aids in development of governance documents and tasks necessary for implementing innovative social media opportunities that will continue to drive social media TD-firsts

Education/Accreditations:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree. Educational background in Marketing, Design, Social Media or Communications/Journalism would be an asset.
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of social media content experience (brand or agency side)
- Incredible written communication and copy-writing skills; able to distill complex financial concepts into concise and compelling formats for the general public
- Intermediate creative graphic and multimedia skills; ability to leverage Adobe Creative Cloud Programs (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Intermediate video production skills; ability to film and edit social media videos
- Proven track record in creative strategy and innovative thinking; particularly when it comes to social media content ideation
- Deep understanding of brand content for social, including the ability to manage and execute content strategies, produce and manage agile content and guide agency partners in the production of content
- Experience analyzing and reporting results - able to pull insights from performance and translate into tactics and recommendations
- Clear communicator and ability to successfully manage agency, partner and vendor relationships
- Strong teamwork orientation - values respectful communication and open collaboration
- In-depth experience on Sprinklr platform (Listening, Engagement, Distributed executions) or similar social media content management system
- Personal interest and understanding of financial concepts
