We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Associate to join our Fixed Income Sales team to cover our Korean clients. The ideal candidate will support senior salespeople in managing onshore Korean institutional client relationships and driving secondary market trading activities across a broad range of fixed income products.

As an Associate in the Fixed Income Sales team, you will play a key role in the distribution of government bonds, credits (IG/HY), emerging markets, securitized products, and structured notes to Korean institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior sales professionals in maintaining and expanding Korea fixed income client relationships.
- Distribute global rates & credit fixed income products including sovereigns, agencies, corporates, and structured products.
- Monitor primary and secondary market developments and provide timely market color and trade ideas to clients.
- Collaborate with trading, research teams and other internal departments to deliver actionable market insights and client solutions.
- Assist in handling ad hoc client requests, preparing pitch materials, client reports, and trade analytics.
- Liaising with Korean institution's operations departments, handling post-trade processes and coordinate with internal teams (trading, operations, legal/compliance).
- Stay updated on macroeconomic and market events impacting fixed income markets.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficiency in Korean to work with our Korean clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in fixed income sales, trading assistant, or relevant client-facing financial role.
- Direct working experience with Korean FI clients across diversified fixed income products (including rates, credit, structured products etc.).
- Hands-on experience in supporting client onboarding, legal/compliance workflows and trade lifecycle in Korean FI markets.
- Established relationships or prior interaction with Korean financial institutions (Central Bank, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Government Pension Fund, Policy banks, Commercial Banks, Insurance Companies, Securities Firms and Asset Managements) including the ones based in Asia (offshore Korea), and Europe branch offices.
- Familiarity with Korean regulatory requirements related to bond trading and sales from an offshore entity.
- Strong understanding of Global fixed income markets and product types
- In depth knowledge of Korean FI markets, docs, and funding as local markets growth a strategic initiative for TD.
- Keen understanding of Korean financial community, with strong cultural awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team play skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and other financial tools.
