About the Job:

Taco Bell is looking for a highly motivated leader to join the finance team to head Pricing and Menuboard Strategy. You’ll be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team that partners closely with Marketing, Digital, Finance, Business Analytics, International, and cross brand teams. You’ll be the primary relationship owner for a team of third-party consultants.

The Senior Manager is instrumental in developing strategies to price to offset inflation, while enabling long term growth goals. You’ll play a key role in shaping pricing and menuboard strategy across the entire menu (omni-channel), from our core to Limited Time Offers (LTOs)—including price recommendations, menu architecture, and related Revenue Growth Management principles. This individual will possess a solid background in finance and be able to articulate the business model impact from pricing. Another key responsibility is partnering cross-functionally with data science and pricing consultants to extract actionable insights from across more than 7,500 restaurants and competitive intelligence. You’ll lead the team responsible for developing pricing related insights, tools, and analytics. In addition, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the pricing strategy across more than 500 company-owned restaurants.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead pricing strategy—develop plans of action to implement pricing to offset inflation while maintaining category-leading value proposition
  • Coach team responsible for pricing analytics and insights. Build capability leveraging rich internal and third party data
  • Drive financial and commercial thinking on the impact from pricing decisions to the restaurant business model
  • Own key cross functional relationships with pricing consultants and data science teams. Drive commercial-minded business perspective
  • Develop presentations to articulate holistic strategy, make recommendations, and share key executive-level updates
  • Influence cross functional partners, routinely at the Director through C-Suite level
  • Lead strategic pricing for Company-owned restaurants—both routine pricing actions and ensuring optimal price levels across restaurants
  • Partner cross-functionally, developing tests to determine optimal product pricing and menuboard layouts to balance sales and margins
  • Develop long range forecasting and planning for pricing
  • Track KPIs and spearhead competitive benchmarking

Is This You?

  • BA required; analytical or business degree preferred
  • MBA a strong plus
  • 8+ years relevant work experience (Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, etc.)
  • Experience working with large data sets and associated analytics tools/techniques (SQL, Python, R) a plus
  • Experience with Revenue Growth Management a plus (pricing models, measuring demand elasticity, etc.)
  • Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, and logical thinking
  • Desire to have a large impact on our organization with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills
  • Resourceful nature with an ability to build business cases through financial models, data, and relevant assumptions to drive action
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to proactively drive agenda and prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills—both written and oral. Can develop persuasive executive-level presentations
  • Demonstrated success in a team environment requiring cross functional influence

Salary Range: ­­$153,200 to $180,300 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
