About the Job:
The Senior Associate Manager will support driving the Brand’s profit performance by leading the planning, forecasting and reporting of Royalties, Franchise Direct Expenses (FDE), Franchise Service Contributions and Expenses (FSC/FSE), and Net Facility Actions. This role will also support Global FP&A on KFC US’s G&A oversight and reporting. Primary responsibilities include P&L analysis, development of initiatives/processes and measuring progress against key targets. This position is integral to helping the Brand achieve profit growth targets.

- Planning and Analysis (30%)
- Support achievement of KFC US financial targets, including Royalties, FDE, FSC/FSE, and NFA, by actively participating in building the annual operating plan, owning period close reporting and quarterly forecast updates.
- Identifying and communicating risks and opportunities through trend analysis, including working with the Control team to identify variances, and preparing quarterly cause of change walks for KFC Global to promote stewardship and achievement of KFC’s operating profit target.
- Convert analysis into actionable plans and influence cross-functionally to implement.
- Prepare and present periodic performance results to the KFC US President and CFO.
- Franchise Royalties (20%)
- Plan and forecast Franchise & License Royalties, including working closely with various teams to include the impact of same store sales (SSS) growth, aggregator sales, rent income and development activity.
- Partner with the Control team to explain Franchise Royalty variances to forecast and identify and communicate risks/opportunities.
- Franchise Service Contributions & Expenses (20%)
- Own forecasting and reporting responsibilities for Digital & Technology teams, including the Ecommerce Digital Fund.
- Present quarterly results to Franchise Leadership (NCAC Technology Sub-Committee).
- Manage G&A planning for all Digital & Technology headcount.
- Capital Management (10%)
- Manage approximately $30 million capital spending plan through planning, analyzing and forecasting anticipated capital needs of both the RSC and Equity teams.
- Support project leads and the Control team in the timely creation of project capital requests.
- G&A Oversight (10%)
- Support KFC Global FP&A team in financial oversight, tracking and reporting of KFC US G&A spend.
- Ad Hoc Reporting (10%)
- Support FP&A team as needed on various ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
Is This You?
- Education/Certifications – Undergraduate Degree from accredited 4-year university in Finance, Accounting or Business Management required; MBA or CPA preferred
- Experience
- 8+ years of corporate experience working in financial planning. QSR industry experience is a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Hyperion, JDEdwards (ReportsNow Query Application) and Microsoft PowerBI is plus.
- Skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and generate actionable recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface directly with higher levels of management.
- High degree of self-motivation with a strong drive for results and intellectual curiosity.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $107,800 - 114,420 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
