About the Job: 

Join Taco Bell UK & Europe as our Head of Technology and play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation to reshape our business model and enrich customer interactions. As a dynamic leader with experience in Agile methodologies, you will lead the development of innovative solutions in Restaurant Technology and Consumer Tech, streamline operations, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data infrastructure and reporting processes. You will ensure seamless daily tech operations and facilitate data-driven decision-making for operational efficiency.

The Day-to-Day: 

  • Lead technology initiatives aligned with the Taco Bell International Technology Leadership Team, contributing to the global technology strategy.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of technology stack and vendor partnerships, ensuring operational excellence, and user satisfaction.
  • Define and execute the technology roadmap, focusing on improved restaurant execution and elevated customer engagement.
  • Establish metrics and processes for continuous improvement and data analysis, driving efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with global technology security teams to uphold the integrity and safety of our systems, prioritizing data security.
  • Manage departmental budgets and project spend efficiently to maximize resources.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing technology organization.

Is this you? 

  • 10+ years of Digital and/or Operational leadership experience, including retail, QSR, or Hospitality.
  • 5 years of experience in complex systems design and implementation in Agile environments.
  • 3 years of experience in team leadership.
  • Experience in consumer-facing setups with an e-commerce focus, marketing technology, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in overseeing multiple projects or software development groups.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with a focus on technology as a business enabler.
  • Quick decision-making ability in time-sensitive, high-pressure scenarios.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative matrix-style environment.

Salary Range: ­­£110,000 to £130,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
