About the Job:

The Field and Partner Communications Specialist will be a key member of the Foundation’s Marketing & Communications team, owning the development and execution of integrated communication strategies across internal corp, franchisees, grantee partners, and owned youth audiences. This individual will develop bold, clear, and compelling messaging that strengthens connection to the Foundation’s mission, inspires engagement, and amplifies our impact. From internal corporate comms, nonprofit partner updates to franchisee field toolkits, this role requires a dynamic storyteller with the ability to write for multiple voices, channels, and formats—always rooted in the Taco Bell Foundation's tone and always aligned with the broader Taco Bell brand.

This person will also be responsible for leading the Foundation’s communication field and partner comms roadmap, including scholar engagement, owner and field leadership and executive visibility with direction from the Head of Marketing and Comms and in partnership with development, programs and marketing counterparts. Over time, the role could grow to manage a direct report, agency team, or contractors.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead Brand Voice & Messaging: Own and evolve a compelling, consistent brand voice for the Taco Bell Foundation that resonates across internal, and community audiences, while aligning with the broader Taco Bell brand.
  • Drive Communications: Develop and execute strategies that engage corporate employees, franchisees, and restaurant teams—through newsletters, toolkits, executive messaging, and campaign rollouts.
  • Oversee Partner & Grantee Communications: Collaborate with program and development teams to create communication plans, toolkits, and storytelling assets that inform, inspire, and activate nonprofit partners and grantees.
  • Create Strategic, Multi-Channel Content: Write impactful content across channels—from speeches and scripts to emails, talking points, and digital copy—that drives clarity, emotion, and action.
  • Lead Creative Collaboration: Manage agency partners and freelancers to elevate content development and contribute to scalable systems and processes that strengthen team collaboration and campaign delivery.
  • Support Mission-Driven Engagement & Fundraising: Craft messaging that deepens stakeholder connection to the Foundation’s mission and directly supports fundraising, youth impact, and community engagement goals.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a communications, PR, or brand storytelling role, preferably within a nonprofit, brand, agency, or purpose-driven organization.
  • Proven ability to write across multiple formats with an engaging, clear, conversational tone.
  • Strong background in developing and executing integrated comms strategies (internal, partner, and external).
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus.
  • Comfortable crafting messaging for executives, public-facing platforms (including socials), and high-visibility campaigns.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Deep understanding of channel strategies for earned, owned, and internal platforms.
  • Passion for social impact, education, and empowering youth—and the ability to turn that passion into stories that move people and drive action.

Salary Range: ­­$86,300 to $90,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
