Role Description:

The HRBP role drives the overall HR strategy and company strategy through a deep understanding of the business needs, partnerships with key business leaders, and input and delivery of talent solutions that directly fuel achieving the business strategy to support a vibrant, fast paced, and high-performance culture.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic HR partnership and counsel to executives across the assigned client groups
  • Cultivates flexible organizational design and structure that allows the business to communicate and operate at optimal levels
  • Develops a robust understanding of business financial performance and commercials. Provides inputs to the budget and planning process as needed.
  • Coaches executive and managers through difficult and delicate situations and in a way that continually develops strong leadership behaviors and accountabilities 
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of the firm-wide talent strategy
  • Partners with the business to define workforce and hiring plans are aligned with the company and location strategy
  • Utilizes data and broad thinking to guide decision making at strategic and operational levels. 
  • Leads M&A talent due diligence and end-to-end integration efforts including change management and the employee experience
  • Leverages a deep and broad understanding of talent across the organization to partner with executives on developing fungible and thoughtful succession planning
  • Proactively plans for and leads change management in partnership with firm leadership 
  • Leads key business initiatives including but not limited to projects such as:
    • Sales incentive plan design
    • Capability identification and solutions
  • Develops HR Generalist team capabilities through but not limited to: 
    • Performance
    • Learning & training- NHO (location specific, as needed)
    • DEIB
    • Manager coaching
    • Employee relations guidance and serves as an escalation point
    • Tier 2 support and escalations
    • Program execution (global approach with regional application)
    • Project/program mgmt 
    • Special projects 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as an HRBP in complex, matrixed and global corporate environments
  • Significant experience of true HR business partnering and advising (senior business stakeholders) with a track record of leading across the full spectrum of HR activities including talent, performance, development, change management, culture, engagement, DEI, and total rewards.
  • Business acumen and the ability to apply talent solutions to solve business needs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
  • People- oriented and results driven
  • Insights-led decision making
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Workday, Greenhouse)
  • Strong HR project and change/transformation experience
  • Excellent active listening, influencing, communications, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
