Job Summary
The EPMO Program Manager (EPM) is responsible for enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives that drive the execution of Surescripts strategies. In this role, the EPM will lead overall efforts including day-to-day oversight of the critical initiatives such as integrated software platform upgrades, M&A integration projects and coordination for product launches. The EPM will provide oversight to the assigned Project Managers working on sub-projects within their respective program structure. The EPM will work closely with the key stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the integration of the program delivers its objectives and goals on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Actively drive and lead enterprise-wide programs, including critical initiatives such as integrated software platform upgrades, M&A integration projects and coordinating the launch for new or enhanced products.
- Ensure programs deliver on schedule, within the targeted scope and within budget.
- Function as an execution partner to the business leads, product leads, and key stakeholders, ensuring they establish project goals, clear scope, success criteria, target timelines and critical dependencies.
- Facilitate efforts to secure alignment and support of program leaders and stakeholders for program goals and expected outcomes. Key stakeholders can include M&A Deal for M&A integration efforts, Product VPs for a new product launch or accountable business leaders for software and platform upgrades and so on.
- Ensure program is broken out into distinct projects that can be managed to deliver on respective outcomes. Monitor projects within assigned programs to ensure goals are met.
- Establish a program governance structure that will support decision-making and risk management, while also providing transparency to program activity and execution progress.
- Create, execute and adapt, as appropriate, all program related documentation for confirmed scope (i.e. project plans, communications plans, change control, RAID, Charters, etc.)
- Thoughtfully manage clear and concise project communications that are tailored to the appropriate audiences.
- Actively identify and manage dependencies and constraints across programs and projects according to organizational priorities, ensuring that risk, decision and dependency owners are clearly identified.
- Collaborate with program leads to manage third-party vendors and ensuring they delivery on expectations for the program. This includes ensuring contracts and statements of work provide clear definition of vendor deliverables, costs and schedule.
- Facilitate planning for implementation and operational readiness.
- Support planning and execution of the change management plans.
- Follow enterprise process and methodologies and mentor the project team providing feedback for improvement.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as an effective program manager
- 8+ years of related experience
- 5+ years demonstrated success in program delivery in a complex matrixed environment
- Demonstrated experience leading initiatives with multiple technologies and functions and diverse stakeholders
- Experience with change management
- Experience working with product management teams
- Experience in Healthcare and/or Technology and a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, enterprise infrastructure
- Proven experience working with enterprise leadership as well as business operations and technology delivery teams
- Ability to travel ~ 25%
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Technical competence with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams)
- Understanding of development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in technology or related business field
- Product launch support experience
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Clarizen and SharePoint
- PMP certification

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $157,300 - $192,300 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
