• Ensure all buildings, tanks and gates are secured during non-operating hours
• Ensure all employees and visitors are safe by diligently investigating all reports of unlawful activity, disruptive behavior and providing personal protection should it be necessary
• Make routine security checks around plant and warehouse locations
• Open doors, escort visitors and assist other lines of business with security and operational needs
• Answer life safety and security alarms
• Operates and assists with the company's access control and video management systems
• Documents all security/safety and health incidents
• When certified, administers Fire Aid as a First Responder/EMT
• Supports and adhere to the job requirements for the department with regards to Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and fully support the company IMS objectives and initiatives

• Two years of prior full-time law enforcement experience or two years of prior "active duty" military service
• Strong work ethic and dependable teammate
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions
• Self-starting and capable of working unsupervised
• Ability to communicate at all levels to include communicating with disruptive visitors in order to de-escalate the situation
• Ability to physically intervene with a disruptive visitor if such situation were to arise
• Trustworthy
• High school diploma / GED
• Valid driver's license
