This role will support the Pricing & CoE Director and the rest of the team working closely with regional Revenue Management teams and IT as needed.

Role Responsibilities

To support the Global Pricing & CoE team developing pricing analysis and competitive insights to support decision making and development of the global price positioning guidelines for core products and innovations. This role will also be supporting the CoE agenda on the development of tools, automated reports and building the RGM mindset and ways of working across the organization.
• Support the development and improvement of the price and promotional positioning guidelines for Global Brands through the necessary competitive landscape analysis, insights and collaboration with BHs, markets and regional RGM teams as needed.
• Support the rest of the team on the development of the pricing guidance for innovations for the Global Brands.
• Research proposed pricing ideas and bring concrete thoughts and analysis to ensure well-informed decision-making. Analyse pricing trends leveraging insights to support decision making.
• Support the development and implementation of pricing trackers for Global Brands under the guidance of the Pricing Manager & Sr Analysts to understand positioning vs. recommended shelf and net pricing. Check regularly to ensure pricing guidelines are followed and otherwise elevate as necessary.
• Work to modernize and automate these pricing trackers going forward under the guidance of the CoE Manager.
• Support the CoE Manager moving forward the Global CoE agenda and integrating the RGM mindset and ways of working across the organization (development of trainings, Stir Page maintenance, etc).
• Support COE for reporting automation including use of Power Bi or other tools that may be needed.
• Act as link between regions & IT under the guidance of the COE Manager
• Use foundational Finance and RGM Knowledge to support technical projects with detailed requirements and documentation.
• Continue to learn new technologies and tools as they become available to the SGS business.
• Support the development of the recommended I3N prices based on the strategic positioning of the brands for innovations and for the core range twice a year to ensure FX is a consideration.
• Support the Pricing & CoE Director and rest of the team to complete ad-hoc analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or related; MBA preferred but not required
• 2-3 years' experience in Pricing, Marketing Insights or Revenue Management. Alternatively, commercial finance or marketing finance. FMCG experience is preferred.
• Power point Presentation experience and proficiency with Windows and MS Office including advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Awareness of AI & ability to use for analysis or extract insights.
• Strong language skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written & spoken English
• Ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team. Strong collaborative spirit and willingness to find alignments to get the work done. Flexible and adaptable in their approach.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Strong analytical and organizational skills - effectively manage & manipulate data to create actionable insights
• Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Self-starter, curiosity, desire and ability to think beyond surface level, dive deeper into analysis and data
• Desire to understand the key drivers of our commercial business performance and how we can improve them.
• Cultural awareness & good interpersonal skills. Confident to express their own opinions within group or team environment
• Feels comfortable working in a changing environment (where responsibilities and WoW also may also be adjusted often) and making decisions or giving recommendations without having perfect data.
