As the Manager of Partnerships & Events at Suntory Global Spirits, you will support the development and execution of strategic partnerships and high-impact events that elevate our Suntory Global Spirits brands and drive business growth. This role involves researching and evaluating potential partners, supporting contract negotiations, and helping to foster mutually beneficial relationships to achieve business goals. You will also coordinate event planning and execution while working closely with the Director of Partnerships & Events. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement initiatives that align with our company's goal to build brands that consumers love. This position will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, Legal, Procurement, PR, Consumer Connections and Commercial Marketing teams. Reports to the Director, US Brands - Partnerships & Events.

Role Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Support
• Research and identify potential strategic partnership opportunities with key industry players, influencers/celebrities and organizations across sports, entertainment and lifestyle
• Support the cultivation and maintenance of relationships to maximize value and collaboration
• Assist in partnership and event agreement negotiations, coordinating with internal parties (legal, procurement, sales, brand marketing, PR)
• Evaluate inbound opportunities with relevant internal stakeholders and support business case development
Partnership Coordination & Management
• Support the strategy execution for negotiation and management of strategic partnerships and entertainment marketing for SGS brands
• Coordinate incoming partnership pitches and opportunities, providing initial assessment and recommendations
• Collaborate with Brand teams, Consumer Connections, PR and agencies to support new partnership streams and ensure partnerships are activated with earned amplification
• Work with Field Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure business/field impact is considered in partnership strategies
• Assist in creating partnerships and event recaps and help socialize results from partnerships
Event Coordination and Support
• Drive the implementation of comprehensive events strategy that aligns with brand objectives, enhances consumer experience, and builds market presence
• Coordinate and lead event planning and execution for nationally led events and support local teams on regional event implementation
• Manage assigned event and partnership budgets within approved parameters
• Collaborate with Field Marketing to ensure event execution aligns with local market needs and state/federal legal requirements
Analysis & Reporting
• Implement our evaluation frameworks for measuring the effectiveness and impact of partnerships and events
• Help track partnership performance against established KPIs, including both financial metrics (revenue generated, sales achieved) and strategic metrics (brand awareness, customer satisfaction, engagement levels)
• Assist in analyzing partnership performance data and prepare regular progress reports for leadership
• Support PDCA analyses (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and provide insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications
• 8-10 years consumer marketing experience with premium, luxury goods, packaged goods or services
• Strategic thinking capabilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting deal negotiations from initial conversations through execution, working with Procurement teams
• Proven ability to coordinate and execute event and partnership projects that align with brand strategy
• Understanding of culturally relevant moments and touchpoints for today's modern consumer
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work through ambiguity and support transformation initiatives
• Experience working collaboratively across teams and functions with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in writing, meetings, and presentations
• Demonstrated ability to support brand evangelism to local teams
• Experience working with commercial sales or field marketing is a plus
• Multicultural marketing experience is a plus
• Experience with the beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer, and other wholesale-distributed products)
• Experience coordinating with multiple agency partners is preferred
• Travel required 25-40%
Salary Range - The salary range for this role based in Chicago is $125,000 to $137,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset.
