Global Travel Retail (GTR) plays a critical role in Beam Suntory's journey to a great brand-building company. The Brand Marketing team is dedicated to enhancing brand equity and driving premiumization by strengthening marketing fundamentals and ensuring excellence in execution. This is achieved through the development of integrated brand plans, creative tools and efficient GTM processes that empower our marketing and commercial teams to become world-class brand builders. The Brand Manager will support the Senior Marketing manager to establish strategic growth plans, prioritize portfolios across regions, develop launch strategies, drive the innovation agenda, and oversee design, communication, and holistic experiences both inside and outside the point of sale. This will be supported by cross-functional specialist teams in categories such as shopper insights, digital communication, and shopper marketing. The position requires a high degree of autonomy, collaborating with stakeholders across business units and brand houses to identify and cultivate future opportunities tailored to the unique needs of GTR shoppers, consumers, and customers.
Role Responsibilities
Support the development and growth of our portfolio of Scotch brands across the GTR global footprint with a particular focus on our lead brands Bowmore and Laphroaig (supported by Auchentoshan, Ardmore, Teachers, Glen Garioch) by incorporating the full integrated marketing mix in the brand plans.
Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute mid and long-term brand strategies integrating the full marketing mix within the Scotch portfolio, focusing on innovation, market allocations, 6P's in coordination with CMM's for full funnel plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with the Global Brand strategy, localizing plans for specific market channels with a specific focus on 5+10 locations and other key strategic locations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver on the Brand's growth plan and innovation pipeline.
• Create and maintain brand toolkit and guidelines to empower commercial teams in delivering high-quality brand activations.
• Collaborate with Innovation team to create launch assets for new innovations
Consumer Insight:
• Utilize cultural, competitor, and consumer insights to inform brand strategy development and execution.
• Collaborate with category team to analyse consumer behaviour and market dynamics to derive actionable insights for brand growth.
• Maintain strong financial acumen, managing budgets and making recommendations based on financial analysis.
Brand Stewardship:
• Embed the Brand's core identity into all strategies, ensuring consistent nurturing and strengthening of brand equity.
• Oversee the implementation of distinctive design codes and messaging across all marketing channels to enhance brand visibility and recall.

Experience Design & Delivery:
• Lead the development of impactful brand experiences that resonate with consumers and engage trade partners.
• Establish a culture of accountability by tracking brand performance against key KPIs and facilitating regular performance reviews.
• Ensure that marketing plans align with financial targets and are executed within budget constraints

Internal: Marketing community, Brand Houses, Commercial Directors, KAMs, Shopper Marketing Managers, Supply chain team, Innovation & Insights team, Global marketing teams in head office, Distillers and Distillers teams.
External: Vendors, partner agencies, industry media and key partners.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years marketing experience
- University degree BS/BA or equivalent
- Proven ability to execute flawlessly on brand/marketing projects that align with overall Brand strategy and/or client/agency side.
- Ability to perform structured analysis of complex data as it relates to brand direction.
- Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple products with a high degree of independence.
- Demonstrate experience in working across and up, within the organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and other commercial leadership.
- Demonstrate personal characteristics to be a brand evangelist.
- Self-driven, results oriented, pragmatic, with a flexible and positive "can do" approach to challenges and difficulties.
- Effective at influencing across cultures.
- English proficiency in writing, meetings, and presentations.
