As an Associate Manager of Channel Marketing, you will have the opportunity to directly influence our brand's success and market presence. In this dynamic role, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies designed to drive sales and enhance brand visibility across our channels and strategic accounts. Reporting to the Director of Channel Marketing: Grocery/Mass, you will work closely with the off-premise channel marketing team to drive growth and establish Suntory as a leader in the spirits industry.

This role is based out of these U.S. core offices: Chicago or New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel/Customer Marketing Strategy: collaborate with channel marketing team to develop and implement effective channel marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, aimed at increasing market penetration, brand visibility, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborative Brief Development: create detailed marketing briefs for the commercial marketing team that clearly outline the channel's unique needs, guiding the creation of impactful marketing assets that engage shoppers.
  • Strategic Account Execution: Partner with Strategic Accounts teams to execute engaging marketing initiatives tailored to specific customers within a channel, boosting brand visibility and driving sales.
  • Insight-Driven Decisions: Leverage market research, consumer behavior analysis, and customer sales data to gain insights into target audience preferences and purchasing habits, ensuring our initiatives resonate with shoppers.
  • Performance Measurement: Set clear KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Analyze results and apply data-driven insights to refine strategies for continuous improvement and maximum impact.
  • Budget Oversight: manage the channel marketing budget effectively, making informed investment decisions to optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience across marketing and field sales roles within the alcoholic beverages industry or related consumer goods industries
• Self-starter with ability to identify, create, and lead projects
• Exceptional technical, analytical, problem solving, and oral/written communication skills

Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in Chicago, Illinois is $88,000k-92,000k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
