Success Academy is growing quickly and this growth requires rapid scaling of all support operations to ensure increasing efficiency with increasing size. Our teachers, scholars and administrators depend on a sophisticated supply chain to ensure that books, curriculum materials, classroom furniture and technology are in the right place at the right time to maximize learning and development. Success Academy is searching for an experienced supply chain professional to lead a talented and enthusiastic team in upgrading Success Academy's supply chain operations to state-of-the-art.
Responsibilities:
Working within our central Network office, our Supply Chain Senior Specialist will report directly to Leader, Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee projects including supplier management, supplier sourcing, and price negotiation;
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with policy;
• Support the development of centralized software Procurement;
• Manage the supplier onboarding process and rationalize supply base within purchasing system by purging unused suppliers ;
• Respond to department internal help desk tickets;
• Proactively generate ways to better streamline processes and deliver an improved customer experience; and
• Generate reports and develop analytical models to help facilitate key decisions.
• Coupa specific related tasks - Review and approve/reject pending requisitions, review and approve/reject PO changes, check for unsent PO's, review and approve/reject unsent supplier information management forms (SIMs), follow up with Suppliers with pending SIMs
• Work with organizational partners to manage inventory, logistics and perform other basic material management functions including inventory controls, warehousing and receiving;
• Implementing new or improved purchasing and material management processes proactively to enhance efficiency and performance;
• Negotiating pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimum contracts; and
• Conduct follow ups on vendor performance and escalate as necessary
Qualifications
A successful applicant will have the following experiences and characteristics: • 3 to 5+ years of supply chain experience supporting procurement and distribution in a high expectations environment;
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and advanced excel skills;
• Some project management experience;
• Collaborative and feedback oriented;
• High level of initiative, flexibility, and customer service; and
• Organized with an attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The candidate must demonstrate competency in the following areas:
• Problem-solving. Approach challenges in creative ways and find thoughtful solutions.
• Analytical. Evaluate systems with an eye toward continuous improvement.
• Planning. Ability to effectively plan and manage inventory systems and processes.
• Communication. Gear communications toward varied target audiences and employ negotiation
skills as needed. Audiences include vendors, school-based staff and network staff.
• Technology. Ability and willingness to learn and support various systems.
• Self Starter. Ability to self-manage and work independently.

Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $79,000.00 - $89,000.00
