Summary - Purpose of Position:

Represents Commercial Fleet Department to all internal and external business partners in pre-order and post-order problem resolution. Implements and oversees all facets of commercial fleet and rental vehicle ordering within the requirements of SOA vehicle Distribution and Traffic functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform all of these:

  • Ensures accurate and timely submission/processing of all fleet orders.
  • Serves as brand ambassador and operational advisor and point of contact to Fleet Management Companies, Rental Accounts and Fleet Ordering Retailers.
  • Establishes/maintains commercial incentive codes and customer account #'s with Fleet Management Companies and internal SOA systems.
  • Ensures JSOX compliance throughout commercial fleet processes.
  • Makes informed decisions in support of commercial business partner satisfaction.
  • Supervises and maintains commercial ordering portals utilized by authorized commercial business partners, to include end user training.
  • Serves as department liasson within SOA, making decisions regarding required support from IT, Logistics, Product, Accounting and Distribution Departments.

  • Clear, concise, timely communication and reporting with National Account Managers.
  • Monitors commercial orders for fulfillment and brings to the attention of the Fleet Sales Operations Manager any anomalies that may impact account orders or business relationships.
  • Develop and implement business improvement strategies focusing on technology improvements to reporting, status and order functionality.
  • Maintains relationships with Regional and Distributor distribution departments.
  • Travels on a regularly scheduled basis to FMC business partners to update, train and problem solve.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent PC and mainframe skills.
  • Strong report writing skills (BI and Qlik).
  • Ability to create accurate financial and business forecasts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Capacity for leadership. Comfortable making independent informed business decisions.
  • Ability to train outside users on Subaru ordering requirements, status and vehicle locations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to independantly prioritize business needs and provide customer focused follow-up to relevant parties.
Educational Requirements:

4 Year College (BA, BS) Preferred
