Your role will involve:
- Working to conduct activities to gain sales growth and market share with new and existing customers.
- Being present in the operating theatre to assist surgeons and theatre staff in maximising the application of Stryker products.
- Providing technical expertise to registrars, nurses and other personnel as required.
- Strategically promote and sell Stryker Lower Extremity products to meet our customers' needs.
- Manage your territory and become a product expert while providing clinical and technical expertise in the hospital setting.
- Plan your territory and track your progress, proactively communicating your findings with your Regional Manager
- Solve product problems using product knowledge and quick thinking.
- Be present in the operating theatre to assist surgeons and theatre staff maximise the use and application of Stryker products.
- Engage surgeons in the new and exciting enabling technology that is currently being used, and what is to come in the pipeline.
Skills and Experience:
- A knack for selling, ideally with some practical sales experience to date.
- Strong commercial acumen with a sales-focused mindset
- Desire to integrate into a high-performing team with a previous track record of achievement.
- Medical or allied health background (preferred) but a genuine interest in anatomy and healthcare is a must!
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience and exposure to sales negotiation and business development practices including territory planning, customer management and lead generation and conversion.
- A previous track record of exceptional performance within the medical device or pharmaceutical sales industry (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of the medical / hospital markets (preferred but not required)
