Why this role is important to us:

The Technology Risk Officer is a role within the Corporate Functions, Markets and Financing (CFMF) Business Risk Management Organization providing assistance to the supported Business teams, Business Risk Advisory (BRA) teams and other risk members on technology specific strategies and risks, including but not limited to Third Party Risk Management, Technology Resilience, Cyber & Information Security risks, Technology Change and Obsolescence Risk.

What you will be responsible for:

As Technology Risk Officer you will:

  • Assist the Technology Risk Advisor, VP with ongoing support to the business teams for Technology Risk related inquiries, issue management and internal policy interpretation/implications.
  • Project manage policy implementations/changes, remediation plans and other broad technology related issues across all business teams as needed.
  • Assist business teams as needed during internal and external audits when technology issues are raised to review and challenge potential issues.
  • Assist business teams with the execution of technology risk acceptances in coordination with Programs team and BRA teams.
  • Assist in the RCSA program as required to aid with Technology Risk guidance utilizing transversal guidance provided by central teams.
  • Support CFMF business units with changes to the Enterprise Macro Governance program regarding Macros and EUDTs
  • Prepare, review, or provide commentary on committee materials as needed to update CFMF risk committees.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, IT or a related field of study
  • 4+ years of professional experience in the Financial Services industry; Risk, IT and/or Audit experience is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and constant attention to details ensuring accuracy of work product(s)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work under deadlines.
  • Solid analytical skills, project management skills and strong risk management acumen
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate across teams / business units; experience promoting a collaborative cross-business environment that fosters change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams), Tableau and Archer
  • Fluent English speaking and writing and presentation skills.
