Quality Assurance Lead

Quality Assurance Lead (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA): Will be responsible for the day‐to‐day testing activities and output associated with development of the IT applications. In this role, the QA Lead will design and implement a long‐term automation strategy and framework to increase efficiencies in State Street's IT development functions. Specific duties of the position include: Leveraging domain knowledge to define the proper test scenarios based on the business requirements and acceptance criteria; Executing functional and regression test cases within established timelines; Developing and maintaining test automation processes in alignment with the project and the organization's standards (e.g., governance, processes, and tools); Designing and implementing the long‐term automation strategy and framework to increase the overall regression test suite and reduce regression timelines; Creating and updating automation scripts for functional and regression testing; Including application and system security entitlement testing to reduce risk and potential IDDs; Running automated regression suites, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues; Managing defects by providing timely defect reporting and tracking through the defect‐life‐cycle; Escalating critical issues when appropriate; Collecting and communicating test automation execution metrics; Providing automation training to team members to reduce knowledge gaps; Applying a strong understanding of Agile development methodology to work effectively in an agile team environment; Utilizing familiarity with RTC and procedures; Participating in daily stand‐ups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospective meetings; Coordinating test efforts with team members onsite and offshore to ensure project deadlines are met; and Collaborating effectively with State Street business and development teams. Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related field; plus 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or any occupation providing hands-on experience creating test automation framework, and managing object repositories, function libraries, and descriptive programming.

Must have: 5 years of automation experience in the Performance & Analytics field with knowledge of statistics and calculations including Performance, Risk, Characteristics, Attribution, and Multi-Asset Class; 5 years of automation experience with reporting tools such as Dashboards for client delivery. Must also have the following: Demonstrated proficiency with the automation tools like Ranorex, Selenium, or QTP; Proven knowledge of Java, Java Script, VBScript, VB, or VB.Net; Proven skills with Oracle SQL and writing SQL Queries; Strong understanding of Agile development methodology; and Proven experience with RTC and JIRA, and procedures. Salary Range:
$130,021 - $150,000 Annual
