Manager - Change The Bank-VP

State Street are currently looking for a Change the Bank Manager Vice President

The Change the Bank Manager will be responsible for effectively managing IT Changes by evaluating, risk assessing and preparing for sign-offs by SSBI Committees and other decision making bodies.

Track, review and classify local and global projects/initiatives to determine the impact on the SSBI IT landscape. Depending on materiality, further manage changes by appropriate sub processes.

  • Review IT changes and define materiality
  • Risk assess changes incl. Prior/Post Implementation Conditions for material IT changes
  • Manage legal entity sign-off process for IT owned material changes (= SSBI DMC [Development and Modification Committee])
  • Manage DMC notification process for non-material IT changes
  • Work with SSBI's IT Outsourcing Controlling function, if third parties are involved in change
  • Coordinate communication on IT changes with Workers Council/Unions (keeping them informed and/or requesting their approval [where needed])
  • Help divisions with the IT aspect of divisional owned changes (risk assessment, to get legal entity-sign off, to present to Workers Council/Unions)
  • Track post-implementation open items
  • Maintain IT change log file incl. appropriate documentation

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline and / or demonstratable experience within a similar technology role
  • 10+ years of relevant Financial Services experience, incl. IT Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project
  • English (with dual language proficiency in German preferred)


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels within the organization within regionally diverse environment
  • Good networking abilities locally, across the other European legal entities and at the group level
  • Ability to influence senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
  • Ability to solve problems, develop alternative approaches to problems, and resolve conflicts


  • Teamwork and collaboration-orientated with very good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment as well as to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Tenacious self-starter with a keen sense of accountability, ownership, commitment to work and passion for delivering results
