Who we are looking for

The Application Lead Developer will analyze, design, develop and maintain web-based My Banking / cash portal in an Iaas+(Infrastructure as a Service) cloud environment using Java-J2EE, REST Web services, Oracle, React JS, Redux, Hadoop, Ajax, Autosys and GIT. Take position of Lead Developer on projects, provide direction to more junior developers / global team / contractors.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As Development lead you will

  • Analyze and Develop solutions to the client needs as developer lead within a team following the agile development approach.
  • Represent team on all major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
  • Manage your efforts within the agile team and outside agile to ensure tasks are completed successfully by deadlines.
  • Design & Develop database objects using Oracle. Ensure proper performance tuning.
  • Understand user needs and put forth options for solutions.
  • Anticipate critical issues and risks, Take responsibility for resolution.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in Java Development; Java-J2EE, Web services, React JS ,Oracle DB a must.
  • Experience in Hadoop or any other file-based data store.
  • Implementation and development experience in UI frameworks.
  • Good understanding of design patterns and architecture along with exposure in MQ & messaging a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be open to discussion of potential options
  • Should be good team player and have excellent communication skills.
  • Should have experience in debugging and resolving production issues by supporting Level 4 team
  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of the overall software development life cycle including development, testing and deployment of all application modules.

Additional requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Fin-Tech / Banking domain.

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
