Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Foreign Exchange Sales, Assistant Vice President to join our team in Frankfurt. The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of diverse clients including official institutions, asset managers, asset owners, insurance companies and hedge funds. A strong sense of teamwork is essential, as the person in the role will be expected to work closely with trading, research, relationship management and our colleagues internationally.

What you will be responsible for

As Foreign Exchange Sales, AVP you will:

  • Interaction with clients across client segments to include as well as Asset Manager, Asset Owner, Insurance, Official Institutions, Hedge Funds, eFX clients and regional and global clients - dealing and producing market updates.
  • Provide secondary and primary support to local, regional and global client relationships to share accountability for client relationships and business development.
  • Expand client relationships by taking responsibility of primary coverage for certain clients and onboarding new ones.
  • Pricing and keying in trades, handling pre-trade confirmations, liaising with middle and back office on trades.
  • Generate daily and monthly reports on FX business - conduct analysis on client's performance to optimize FX win rates.
  • Assist and coordinate client events/functions for State Street Global Markets in conjunction with our Macro and Quantative research teams.
  • Strong risk management culture - showing accountability and responsibilities in all daily activities and personal conduct.
  • Internal collaboration amongst local, regional and global colleagues to enhance and develop existing and new client relationships through innovation and creative thinking.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor (or higher) degree holder
  • 5+ years of experience within a Global Markets environment
  • Language skills - all European languages are a bonus with German and English preferred.
