Who we are looking for:

The International Tax Manager, based in London, will be an integral member of State Street's Corporate Tax Department and will support State Street Corporation's international tax operations. The successful candidate will report to State Street's Tax Managing Director based in London who is responsible for State Street's Global Transfer Pricing Policy and international tax matters particularly in the UKMEA, Irish and AsiaPac regions.

What you will be responsible for:

Transfer Pricing (TP)

• Periodic review of the global TP calculations prepared by the global accounting operations team

• Supporting the preparation of CbCR, local and master files globally

• TP modelling, functional analysis and review of State Street's TP policies

• Supporting TP audits

• Providing TP advice to the business on new products and businesses

Tax Accounting & Reporting

• Review and/or preparation of tax provisions and reconciliations for material legal entities internationally

• Review/preparation of tax forecasts

• Periodic review of US GAAP tax provisions

• Provide tax accounting expertise and training to the accounting team

Tax Projects & Consulting

• Assisting with restructuring and M&A projects

• Providing tax advice to the business on new products and businesses

• Modelling & considering impact of legislative changes

• Technical research

• Assisting the tax team with ad-hoc projects and advisory matters as needed.

Technical Experience:

  • Tax manager with a big 4 accounting firm with minimum 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Strong accounting, modelling and IT skills
  • Chartered Tax Advisor qualification and financial services tax experience are beneficial but not necessary.
