We are looking for a Business Solutions Engineers to support our KVG Backoffice Insourcing - Projects & Configuration / Asset Data Management team (locations in Frankfurt, Leipzig and Munich).

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Business Solutions Engineer you will

  • Analyze/transfer technical requirements (need for innovation) from business needs (tax law, local gaap IFRS and legal reporting) and assess the possibilities for implemention in SimCorp Dimension (SCD).
  • Coordinate requirements and work closely with the teams involved in the process (business analysis, project management, departments, etc.).
  • collaborate in projects with a focus on SCD configuration and processes and assume project management for small and medium-sized projects
  • Further develop the SCD configuration and processes with a focus on configuration (Tax/ local gaap/ IFRS) including documentation, testing and SCD handover as part of current internal change processes
  • further develop the SCD platform technically and business wise
  • support the operating units (customer support, fund accounting, SCD service, annual financial statements,...) with inquiries and as 2-level support in the area of SCD configuration
  • take care of the use, introduction and further development of suitable tools to ensure data integrity and to validate the efficient workflow of processes in day-to-day business
  • help to advance the Data Quality in and around SCD

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies and/or bank training
  • Experience in SimCorp Dimension and a good understanding of the database model (Oracle) are required
  • Overall understanding of all relevant investment processes (preferably with an understanding of InvStG) in a capital management company (KVG) including the technologies and IT systems used
  • Knowledge of SQL is desirable
  • Good English skills
