Job Title: AVP, Program Manager, Chief of Staff Team

General Description:

The Program Manager role within the Chief of Staff team for State Street's Chairman and CEO is an exciting, challenging, and highly visible role. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO, this role will act as the center point of coordination across all deliverables for the Chairman and CEO, including Executive Committee (EC) meeting and offsite support, tracking of follow-ups related to the execution of firmwide strategic priorities and, community initiatives, and internal and external communications that the Chairman and CEO is involved with. You will need to take initiative, exercise independent thinking, juggle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including EC members and other State Street leaders, employees, community partners, and investor relations as it relates to the Chairman and CEO's involvement in various commitments.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to ensure the Chairman and CEO is properly prepared for all upcoming engagements.
  • Work with the internal communications team to plan and execute against the Chairman and CEO's internal engagement strategy, including live events, written letters, videos, and other avenues of communication.
  • Help brainstorm and conceptualize new methods and approaches for the Chairman and CEO to engage with stakeholders.
  • Maintain materials, organizational charts, and membership lists for the Executive Committee, Executive Vice Presidents, and Operating Group, State Street's three most senior management and governance groups chaired by State Street Chairman and CEO
  • Coordinate and handle document production and special projects, as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience in a corporate environment.
  • Able to manage highly sensitive, confidential information with complete discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, meet deadlines and effectively execute in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Can-do approach to problem-solving and prioritization complemented by strong decision-making capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and written skills. Will have the ability to comfortably interact & communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
