State Street Alpha's Model Office integration team is looking for qualified individuals with strong experience in integration, project management, analysis, workflow design, data analysis, system flows and business architecture in order to implement/create/recommend Alpha platform end to end integration. State Street Alpha combines our unique capabilities in data and analytics to better serve our clients and the model office serves as the environment where all the components of Alpha integrate. As a model office team member you will help build the clients end state end to end architecture provide insights, data solutions. We are seeking an individual who can identify innovative ways in solving complex issues that require business and integration experience in order to identify an optimal solution and disseminate the suggested path forward,

What you will be responsible for

As Alpha Professional Services Lead you will

  • Assists in creation of both BAU and strategic initiatives and plans to define Model Office roadmap to reach future state goals.
  • Working knowledge of multiple investment instruments such as equity, over the counter instruments and debt.
  • Actively engages and executes assignments for large and complex business solutions initiatives across Model Office.
  • Supports the development of approaches and plans for resolving staff resource constraints/contentions and creates plans/strategy for building and maintaining subject matter expertise within the business solutions team.
  • Promotes business requirements analysis best practices, tools and controls to improve processes and quality of service.
  • Assists in development and maintains ongoing repository of business process workflow documentation.
  • Drives the creation of business case documentation and requirements analysis for Model Office and potentially other ALPHA product teams.
  • Work closely with Alpha initiatives to continuously improve our approach
  • Partnering with Information Technology ensures proper communication of business requirements to ensure smooth implementation workstreams.
  • Develop data and functional requirements and assist in the creation of related estimates
  • Participate in information delivery and business intelligence strategy sessions
  • Complete data analysis, profiling, and data mappings across multiple interfaces
  • Assist in the development the conceptual/logical data models with appropriate business

  • Perform data gap analysis on complex financial data
  • Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to improve outcomes

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business management for system admin
  • 7+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services and data domains.
  • Experience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperability a plus (i.e.CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, defect tracking (Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Experience working in cloud data platforms such as Azure and Snowflake

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
