Senior Benefits Analyst - APAC

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to design, implement and administer our APAC and India benefit programs, including flexible benefits program (India), health, life, and disability insurance, retirement/pension programs.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants, vendors, and insurers (for example; benefits consultants, brokers, and trustees).
  • Work closely with consultants/brokers globally to conduct benchmark analysis to identify trends in industry and competitors to provide competitive and cutting-edge benefits on a global basis. Participate in surveys annually to maintain access to market data to assess results and market trends. May conduct employee surveys and focus groups as well as network with industry peers in the market to inform development of new policies and plan designs.
  • Design and implement communication programs to enhance the value of benefit programs and increase employee understanding and engagement.
  • Establish and implement a quantitative scorecard process for selecting new benefits and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of current benefits programs.
  • Partner with the Finance team to manage and evaluate the cost of all benefits programs to optimize our global benefit plans cost and performance.
  • Reconciles and processes invoices, maintains CD balance tracking, and timely processes employee deductions with Payroll and Finance.
  • Develops implementation project plans for new benefits and programs and runs open enrollments, manages project plans to deliver on time launch of new plans and policies, ensures new vendors are approved timely through official procurement channels,
  • Experience administering and developing benefit programs in APAC required and global experience highly desired.
  • Ensure compliance with assigned region's legal and disclosure requirements. Maintain benefit plan documentation including plan documents and policies.
  • Partners with Global Benefits team to provide support across regions as needed and works collaboratively with team to build harmonized global programs that are culturally relevant for your region.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders such as Culture & Talent Business Partners (CTBPs), C&T Operations, Internal Communications, Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll and various Committees to ensure efficient plan administration and excellent customer service to employees.

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified

  • Minimum of Advanced degree and 4+ years of progressive experience in a Human Resources function including specific benefits experience administering and developing benefit programs/plans.
  • Benefits experience in APAC with a focus on India benefits.
  • Role is located in India working from Bangalore or Gurgaon offices in a hybrid capacity.
  • Benefits experience in organizations known for innovative and competitive benefits.


  • Benefits Professional certification preferred. Experience in markets other than APAC and India highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to be consultative and pragmatic in program development, implementation, communication, and evaluation.
  • This is an operating role interacting face-to-face with employees. Must possess high customer obsession and service mindset that hustles to get things done in terms of response, decision making and communication.
  • Proven track record in managing a variety of benefit vendors and consultants to ensure favorable outcomes and high level of customer service.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Exceptional business insight and strategic orientation.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to handle high levels of ambiguity.
