As a Sr. Product Designer - UI/UX you'll be responsible for designing products and features that directly impact the consumer experience. Designs innovative solutions by collaborating with all involved teams and supporting new and existing features across multiple applications. Involved in reviewing and creating innovative solutions. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.

WHAT OUR SR PRODUCT DESIGNERS ENJOY MOST

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Design UX and UI deliverables to support product requirements.
  • Bring proven knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch.
  • Design information architecture and wireframes that both meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience.
  • Bring proven knowledge of new design techniques.
  • Partner with the wider design team to drive cross-platform consistency.
  • Modify, enhance, and implement design specifications and assets suitable for implementation. Organize files and follows all established design patterns when applicable.
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to help solve problems.
  • Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables.
  • Works with design team leadership to contribute to and define application of design system for platform specific componentry and patterns.
  • Present and articulate design decisions in working sessions and design reviews with the feature team, cross functional teams, and stakeholder groups.
  • Leverage data insights and UX research to support design decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Digital design experience - 5+
  • Experience with basic prototyping and interface design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Axure, etc.) - 2
  • Experience with project estimation
  • Experience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/Related Field, or equivalent real world experience

Skills:

  • Demonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
  • Demonstrates effective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Demonstrates strong design thinking skills through creation of UX deliverables such as user flow diagrams and wireframes that solves the design problem by meeting both the business goals and ensures a positive customer experience
  • In-depth understanding of UX best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of platform specific nomenclature
  • Experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications

Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to demonstrate UI and UX design skills via portfolio
  • Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to fully engage and collaborate with team

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
